An opportunity has arisen to join our Practice Nursing Team at Prestonpans Group Practice.

Our practice is based in Prestonpans in East Lothian, an area which contains some pockets of deprivation and new build developments, giving growth and diversity to our patient population. The new town of Blindwells falls within our practice boundary. We have 5 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs and 1 GP Retainer and are supported by a Nurse Practitioner as well as pharmacy, Links Worker and a Substance Misuse nurse. We are a training practice and host 2 GP trainees, an FY2 and final year medical students. Our list size is currently 10,000 and growing. We strive to provide excellent continuity of care to all our patients. 

The post offers 20-24 hours per week, but we are open to discussions around this for the right person. The role is varied and covers all aspects of Practice Nursing. Training can be provided if necessary. The successful candidate should be motivated and able to work independently, but within agreed guidelines.
