Protocol Education is excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a school in Newcastle. If you’re enthusiastic about guiding students to explore beliefs, values, and ethics, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in young lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons for students at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5.
  • Foster open-mindedness and respect for diverse perspectives and cultures.
  • Develop creative and inclusive teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking and reflection.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
About You:
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in Religious Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching RE at the secondary school level.
  • A passion for promoting understanding, tolerance, and respect among students.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Committed to supporting students’ academic and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
