Step Teachers are joining forces with a primary school located in Brent. This school focuses on helping students enhance their self-awareness, self-worth, and self-assurance and is currently in need of a Year 6 Long Term Supply Teacher to become part of their staff in September 2024. The Year 6 Teacher will be supporting a group of well-mannered and driven primary school children. The Year 6 Teacher should be full of enthusiasm and ready to engage with their students, while also contributing to the school's respectful, friendly, and secure learning environment.

Year 6 Teacher - Role:

  • Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • The Year 6 Teacher should be able to maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • The Year 6 Teacher should be compliant with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Year 6 Teacher - Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 6 Teacher – Key Stage 2.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • Have experience teaching History as a subject.
