Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Gastroenterology Typist Team.
You will work as part of a team, providing high-quality audio typing and clerical support for the department, collaborating closely with the Patient Pathway Coordinators.
This is a full-time position with some remote work options.
We are looking for a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent audio typing skills, good organizational and communication skills, and a strong background in typing.
You should demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, be highly motivated and reliable. Your ability to comprehend and accurately convey verbal and written information, along with maintaining composure under pressure, is essential. Effective time management and prioritization, while keeping the focus on patient care, are key.
Your responsibilities include timely audio typing of clinical correspondence. You must be a fast and accurate audio typist with knowledge of medical terminology. Additionally, you should excel in prioritizing your workload to meet shifting demands and agreed-upon deadlines. Using your own initiative and responding to queries appropriately is also expected.
