Job Advertisement: ICT Teacher (Absence Cover)
Location: Secondary School, Ribble Valley
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our secondary school in the Ribble Valley, covering a maternity absence in our ICT department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality ICT lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work, ensuring progress and attainment are closely monitored.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a passion for ICT and computing.
- Work collaboratively with the ICT department to maintain the high standards of teaching and learning.
- Support the development of students' digital literacy and technical skills, equipping them for success in an increasingly digital world.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant ICT/Computing qualifications.
- Experience teaching ICT at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to positive behaviour strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
