Locum RVN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team in Slough. This is a full-time locum position where you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team and providing excellent care to our patients. Shift Pattern: Full-time, Monday Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in surgery and with medical procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed.
• Provide inpatient care, including monitoring vitals and providing post-operative care.
• Conduct nurse clinics and client education on routine pet care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Support the day-to-day running of the practice, including stock control and ensuring the clinic is clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
• Strong clinical skills and experience in both routine and emergency care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
