We are looking for

a candidate who has excellent communication skills, experience of working with vulnerable groups of patients including those living with Dementia , and who will be innovative in creating and engaging a number of activities including the arts, music, reminiscence therapy and physical activities.

This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) fixed-term position but we would consider 30 hours per week. 

Shifts will mainly be during the day, but there may be a requirement to work some later hours according to activities planned.

-Supporting patients with nutritional requirements.

-Supporting patients who may have complex physical and mental health needs.

-Creating opportunities for patients to spend time doing activities such as arts and crafts, games and other mindfulness and distraction techniques.

-Working closely with different members of the MDT to develop a range of different support mechanisms for patients.

-Supporting patients who have cognitive impairments and liaising with families, including completing ‘This is me’ information.
