Role Overview

As a Paralegal at ASM Europe’s Legal Headquarters, you will provide essential support for all legal aspects related to event management, new business initiatives, procurement, and venue mobilisation. This role demands a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively assist with legal research, contract review, and compliance matters while ensuring smooth and efficient operations across various functions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare clear and concise summaries of contracts and agreements. Draft simple contract documents, including renovations, extensions, and other standard agreements. Assist with the legal aspects of mobilising new venues, including drafting and reviewing relevant documents. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies in venue-related activities. : Support the team with various legal matters, including property, commercial, corporate, and litigation issues. Conduct legal research and provide summaries to aid in the resolution of diverse legal matters. Collaborate with different departments to ensure legal compliance and support across the business. Assist with the preparation and review of documents related to various business functions. Organise and maintain legal documentation, including contracts and correspondence. Prepare reports and assist with general administrative tasks as required.

Key Skills and Experience

LB degree with a 2:1 classification or above. Previous experience in a paralegal role covering property, commercial, corporate, or litigation matters is desirable. Strong understanding of contract law and legal documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders. Maintains composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations. Meticulous and thorough in handling legal documents and information. Capable of meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively .
