About the Role:

• Position: Teacher of Maths
• Contract: Permanent, starting in September
• Potential TLR Opportunity: The school is open to offering a 2iC (Second in Charge) role to a candidate with the right experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Maths to students across various age groups and abilities.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for teaching.
