The hours of work and shift patterns are Rotational:
AM/PM rotated Shift 5 Days 05:45 – 14:15 and 14:15 – 10.45
The rates of pay are: £13.70
Main Responsibilities:
- Complete export paperwork
- Working with the Senior Supervisor and Operations Manager plan efficient export schedules
- Ensuring lorries are correctly loaded and all product is correctly certified for export destination.
- Ensuring correct control of temperatures on all exportable product
- Establish and maintain relationships with export agents and haulers to facilitate effective communication
- Establish and maintain customer relationship to effectively address customer queries
- Maintain KPI data and filing
- Follow all safe-working practices, halting any unsafe working practices.
- To ensure that all areas of training in basic food hygiene, health and safety and product quality are adhered to.
- When applicable provide holiday and/or supervisory cover and support.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the factory and unit, these may not be office and/or admin based and may involve working on the production line/yard areas.
Ideal Candidate:
- A good understanding of the supply chain/chain of custody linked to products of animal origin
- Attention to detail
- Punctual – adhering to all deadlines linked to export deliveries
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally (with suppliers, customer depot teams and officials).
- Excellent computer skills with good understanding of the Microsoft office packages
- Level 2 basic food safety
- Level 2 H&S
- Powered pallet truck license or willingness to learn
