About the role: Hybrid working - Permanent and 12 month secondments available

As a Demand Planner, you'll be the driving force behind achieving critical KPIs (customer availability, wastage, customer service) for a diverse product range. You'll collaborate with top-tier suppliers, work closely with our retail partners, and help optimise our cutting-edge supply management systems.

What you will be doing
  • Join a leading team - As a Demand Planner, you'll be part of either the Ocado Logistics or Morrisons team at our head office in Hatfield.
  • Take charge of a varied portfolio - Manage demand and forecast planning for hundreds of products.
  • Leverage data to drive success - Use your analytical skills to hit key KPI targets, maximising efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong supplier relationships - Lead supplier performance reviews, manage SLAs, and optimise delivery processes for seamless operations.
  • First Point of Contact - Act as the go-to person for quickly resolving operational supply chain issues.
  • Collaborate & Innovate - Work hand-in-hand with suppliers and commercial colleagues to create collaborative plans and identify emerging trends that give us a competitive edge.
  • Inspire with Enthusiasm - Motivate your team with integrity, acting as a role model and ambassador for our core values.

About you:
  • Preferred Experience - FMCG, supply chain or merchandising background with solid business acumen.
  • Demand Forecasting Pro - Experienced in driving accurate demand forecasts and data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent Communicator - Strong written and verbal skills for effective collaboration and influence.
  • Organised and Adaptable - Thrive under pressure with superb planning, meeting deadlines in a KPI-driven environment.
  • Great team player - Support your colleagues, share knowledge and work towards common goals.
  • Excel Expert - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to analyse and interpret data, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
