About the Role

We are looking for an inspiring Pastoral Leader to join our team in September 2024 on a full-time permanent contract.

Working under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion the Pastoral Leader will:

Work with the AHT for Inclusion/SENDCO to develop, implement and evaluate the strategy for pastoral care for all pupils in the school Lead on behaviour across the school: ensuring school systems are followedevaluating school systems to ensure that they are fit for purpose and they promote a culture of high expectations and learningsupporting with staff CPDtracking and analysing data regarding behavioural incidentsproviding appropriate interventions to reduce the number and frequency of behavioural incidentssupporting with high level behavioural incidentssupport the most vulnerable/challenging students on a daily basis using mentoringcreating specific, individual behaviour plansliaising with other staff, school leaders, pupils, parents and other agenciesprepare reports for the leadership team and governors Lead on Anti-Bullying across the school: ensuring school systems are followedevaluating school systems to ensure that they are fit for purpose and they promote a culture of high expectationssupporting with staff CPDtracking and analysing data regarding bullying incidentsliaising with other staff, school leaders, pupils, parents and other agenciesprepare reports for the leadership team and governors Co-ordinate the pastoral support team, ensuring that student/staff concerns are followed-up, monitor the implementation and impact of pastoral interventions Develop and enhance lunchtime provision Be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead To be a positive role model
