Job Description:


Electrical PCB Engineer will develop intricate printedcircuit board layouts. This role involves collaborating withengineering teams creating schematics circuit board layouts andoptimizing designs for manufacturing and testing.
Workwith electronic engineers and embedded engineers to create circuitdesigns and board layouts to meet platform deliverables withinproduct development phases.
Identify the risksmitigations and contingency plans for new features.
Workclosely with Applied Materials business units tool owners and othertechnical support groups in crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Problem identificationand troubleshooting a wide range of complex electrical problemswith limited to no supervision.
Specify the developmentof design or modify engineering assemblies layout/schematics and/ordetailed drawings/specifications of complex scope.
Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding complexelectrical issues for specific projects.
Specify and/orperform engineering ECAD design of complex scope.
Definecoordinate perform and generate engineering test reports asrequired.

Position requirements
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent desired.
Experience with Altium software for PCB/PCBA design with input frommechanical and electrical teams.
Create and modifyschematics as directed by engineers.
Generate librarysymbols footprints and 3D drawings for components.
Investigate and implement PCB design trends andprocesses.
Conduct feasibility studies for packagingcost and system performance.
Perform complex CAD and CAEtasks ensuring compliance with design standards.
Proposedesign tradeoffs for resolution and implementation.
Communicate with fabrication vendors and address engineeringquestions.
Prioritize quality design and observe designfor test and manufacturability principles.
Understandimpedance control requirements for electrical and RFcircuits.
Stay updated on PCB technology trends andapply them to our designs.
Collaborate with variousteams during the design and fabrication process.
ResolvePCB design issues with vendors.
Contribute to PCB designspecifications and standards for product quality andcostefficiency.
Be creative and innovative. Demonstratea willingness to explore new options to bridge program challengesor improve processes.
A nature of staying focused onsolutions and ability to remain positive even underpressure.
Ability to establish and maintain positiveworking relationships with others foster teamwork and bridgedifferences to achieve the program goals.

Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Altium or MentorPCB Design software.
Familiarity with Mechanical CADtools (e.g. Siemens NX) is a plus.
Strong knowledge ofPCB design best practices and standards (e.g. IPCA610).
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in RF Circuit PCB design is preferred.
Experience using Altium PCB Design software
