100% ONSITE The client seeks an experiencedIT Consultant to support the design development implementation andmaintenance of an enterprise Big Data solution as part of the DataModernization Effort. This role will provide expertise to support thedevelopment of a Big Data / Data Lake system architecture thatsupports enterprise data operations including the Internet ofThings (IoT) / Smart City projects enterprise data warehouse theopen data portal and data science applications. This is an excitingopportunity to work as a part of a collaborative senior data teamsupporting Chief Data Officer. This architecture includes anDatabricks Microsoft Azure platform tools (including Data LakeSynapse) Apache platform tools (including Hadoop Hive Impala SparkSedona Airflow) and data pipeline/ETL development tools (includingStreamsets Apache NiFi Azure Data Factory). The platform will bedesigned for use and integration with other Enterprise Data toolssuch as Esri Tableau MicroStrategy API Gateways and Oracledatabases and integration tools.

MinimumEducation/Certification Requirements: Bachelors degree inInformation Technology or related field or equivalentexperience Skill Required /Desired Amount ofExperience Experienceimplementing Big Data storage and analytics platforms such asDatabricks and Data Lakes Required 5Years Knowledge of Big Data and Data Architecture andImplementation best practices Required 5Years Knowledge of architecture and implementation ofnetworking security and storage on cloud platforms such asMicrosoft Azure Required 5Years Experience with deployment of data tools and storage oncloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure Required 5Years Knowledge of Datacentric systems for the analysis andvisualization of data such as Tableau MicroStrategy ArcGIS KibanaOracle Required10 Years Experience querying structured andunstructured data sources including SQL and NoSQLdatabases Required5 Years Experience modeling and ingestingdata into and between various data systems through the use of DataPipelines Required5 Years Experience with implementingApache data products such as Spark Sedona Airflow Atlas NiFi HiveImpala Required5 Years Experience with API / Web Services(REST/SOAP) Required3 Years Experience with complex eventprocessing and realtime streaming data Required 3Years Experience with deployment and management of datascience tools and modules such as JupyterHub Required 3Years Experience with ETL data processing analytics usinglanguages such as Python Java or R Required 3Years Experience with Cloudera Data Platform Highly desired3 Years 16 yrs planning coordinating andmonitoring project activities Required 16Years 16 yrs leading projects ensuring they are in compliancewith established standards/procedures Required 16Years Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalentexperience Required
