(9f2f9b59) We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Enabler to provide 2:1 close supervision for 10 year old at 5 hours term time and extra 5 hours during school holidays.You will be required to provide 1:1 support for a young person to support both at home and in the community accessing age appropriate 1:1 activities. This will include swimming, soft play, beach outings, cinema, Airbox Bounce, Tim Lamb Centre, and walks to the park and other local activities that may be of interest. The support which will take place at home and gradually build up to outings to enable this young person to access age appropriate activities. The child has no concept of risk and danger and will need to be kept safe at all times. Main Duties: To support the child to access age appropriate activities both at home and in the wider community, and to keep this young person engaged in active pursuits To support the child when accessing community activities with social interaction and building relationships To build a relationship with the child understanding his nature and communication skills To support with personal care accessing only a disabled toilet when in the community if needed To ensure the child is kept safe from all risks and dangers
Hours:
5 hours per week to be used flexibly and can be more flexible during school holidays where there is a an additional 5 hours available. Essential Criteria: Have a high degree of initiative and can be firm when challenged. Be punctual and reliable. Be flexible. Have a happy positive caring nature. Have an outgoing personality.
You must hold a full UK driving license and have business insurance included. The certificate must be shown to the employer upon commencement of this post. Rates of pay: £13.09 per hour. 5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata) Out of pocket expenses will be met by the Employer. This post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and references (Cost to be met by Employer). Car driver is essential and must have Business Insurance. Services
