Fully Qualified Teacher required to work across Key Stage 2 (BB5)

A small Primary School in Accrington are looking to appoint an experienced Fully Qualified Teacher to join their warm and welcoming team. The role is to start from September 2024 and is to work 5 Afternoons, Monday-Friday. You are required to work across the whole of Key Stage 2. The role is to take over the Schools PPA Cover Teacher who is going on Maternity Leave. You will be required to deliver Topic Lessons e.g. P.E, R.E, Art etc. so an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum is vital.

The School is a ‘Good’ school as graded by Ofsted, and the Head Teacher has said the general behaviour of the School is ‘Very Good’. She is looking to employ a Teacher who can deliver engaging and interactive lessons to encourage the children to be enthusiastic about learning. The school is one form entry and the Head Teacher has commended her staff as ‘supportive and hard-working’. The school has a varied catchment with a mixture of ethnicity across school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
