About the role:

Reporting into the Site Manager, the Warehouse Supervisorwill supervise the warehouse team, processes, and systems in order to ensureproducts are received, handled, stored and dispatched appropriately. Stockintegrity and accuracy is maintained via both cyclic and monthly checks, andthat customer contract targets are met.

They will be responsible for opening and closing the site, maintaininghealth and safety standards and security of the warehouse and yard. In additionto supporting companywide improvement initiatives and propose processimprovements across your function.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, it will be your responsibility to: 

Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, floor productivity, dispatch, and customer service. Take an active role in warehouse and yard setup layout and always ensure efficient space utilization. Supervise the team to ensure that all inbound stock deliveries are quality checked and booked onto the system raising any discrepancies as soon as possible after receiving goods. Prepare for and carry out stocktakes as required with warehouse team. Complete periodic spot counts on fast moving and high value product lines. Ensure that warehouse staff are fully trained and conversant in health and safety requirements. Oversee and implement ISO9001 and ISO14001 policies and procedures within the warehouse and yard. Oversee and implement health and safety policies and procedures within the warehouse and yard. Active role in absence management including return to work and disciplinary interviews. Lead by example to ensure the warehouse team are fully integrated into Brenntag’s culture by championing and embedding Brenntag values. Comply with all ISO standards as required. Other site operational duties as deemed necessary by the business. At least one job must be selected in order to apply.
