Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager

Location: StocktonCA

Duration: Full TimePermanent

Shift: 8 hours day40 hours a week

The Clinical Nurse Manager iswellversed in people development management and RN level nursingcare. The Clinical RN Manager maintains accountabilities for allfunctions of the clinic and clinic team and ensures policies andworkflows are clearly understood and followed by all clinic and RNCase Manager team members.

EssentialJob Duties:

  • Operate ahighperforming wellequipped and safe clinic as well as ensureworkflow efficiency clarity and protocols
  • Hireretain coach develop supervise and ensure the RN Case ManagersClinic RN Medical Assistants and other clinic team members areengaged and healthy
  • Analyze data withattention to trends strengths weaknesses and opportunitiesperforming root cause analysis evaluating care delivery processesand based on findings making recommendations to the CSD on changesto strategies workflows and policies to continuously improve clinicoperations
  • Ensure nursing and clinic staffdeliver and correctly document interventions as agreed upon inparticipants care plans including but not limited to promptly andaccurately responding to physician orders completing assessmentsand actively participating in care planning for all assignedparticipants
  • Evaluate the quality andeffectiveness of coordination and services in conjunction withmedical practice leadership providers case managers and otherrelevant IDT disciplines
  • In collaboration withCSD and Quality Improvement Director serve as the audit lead forclinical and nursing elements during CMS/DHCS auditreview
  • Develop and monitor corrective actionplans to ensure ongoing compliance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in nursing or other healthcare relatedfield preferred; professional experience may besubstituted
  • Unencumbered registered nurse (RN)state license required
  • Minimum of two (2)years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operationincluding RN LVN and MA staff; equivalent nurse leader experiencein a high volume outpatient setting may be substituted
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinicalsetting with a frail or elderly population
