Are you a reliable and proactive individual committed to safeguarding others? We are seeking skilled Security officers to join us at Securitas.

£11.44 per hour

⏰ 35 hours per week

4 on 2 off rotation

⏳ Split shifts: 11:00-14:30 and 22:30-02:00

️ SIA License - Essential

• Securitas will provide you with your smart Securitas Uniform and full site training
• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
• Search of equipment and manual search techniques, in order to ensure that no prohibited articles are taken through the Port.
• Xray screening and bag searching
• Vehicle Search and Freight Search
• Controlling of access into the Terminals
• Resolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through the Port
• Read and adhere to security notices, completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred.
• Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
• Carry out patrols of the areas to ensure that these locations are secure.
• Attending to and investigating reports of incidents.

• Right to work in the UK with a five-year check able history.
• SIA licence.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Have an enthusiastic proactive attitude.
• Computer Literate
