Job summary

Are you passionate about mental health and dedicated to making a positive impact in communities? We are looking for Outreach Workers to join our NHS Talking Therapies Service. WithYou is a charity providing free, confidential support to people experiencing challenges with drugs, alcohol or mental health. This is an exciting role, to work with a wide range of mental health practitioners, partner providers and referrers to develop and grow our mental health workforce in Kent.

Main duties of the job

As an Outreach Worker, you are responsible for increasing awareness of our service and growing our level of engagement with local community groups. Working alongside the Service Manager, you'll establish relationships with various providers to introduce our service as a key component. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a business development role or equivalent and with well-developed influencing, negotiation and presentation skills. Qualifications related to project management, health and social care, psychology and related fields would be advantageous. The post holder will excel in speaking with hard-to-reach communities and have an understanding of common mental health challenges. You will implement a local marketing toolkit to deliver impactful, promotion messages to the local community's needs. Above all, we are looking for someone passionate about what we do, and with a positive and engaging approach.

This is an exciting role, to work with a wide range of mental health practitioners, partner providers and referrers to develop and grow our mental health workforce in Kent.
