Floor Layer

The Role

We are currently seeking a new Floor Layer to join our busy team at Fortem working on our Stonewater housing contract for a fixed term contract for approx 10 months.

You will be covering a large patch in the South West including Bristol to Bournemouth and surrounding areas.

The Project

The role involves carrying out Flooring maintenance, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision.

It is essential as a Floorer you are able to lay vinyl flooring, have cap and cove experience and knowledge of wet rooms. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.

You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

Essential Criteria
• Vinyl floor laying experience
• Cap and cove
• Knowledge of wet rooms

Desirable Criteria
• Social Housing experience
