Hygiene Team Leader (A Shift Nights)

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Team Leader to join our Night Shift Team on A Shift The purpose of the role is to provide hygiene to the factory so that acceptable conditions of cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping are maintained and complete hygiene sign offs.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

Achieve the targets and maintain the level of hygiene specified by the Hygiene Manager Follow Area Manager instructions Supervise, brief and train hygiene operatives in maintaining satisfactory standards of performance, safety, hygiene, PPE and discipline Carry out general and specific hygiene duties in accordance with the frequency and methods laid down in the factory hygiene schedule and cleaning instruction cards Ensure that cleaning and disinfection are carried out at the frequency and according to the methods laid down in the factory hygiene schedule and instruction cards Responsible for checking the standard of cleaning is in accordance with the specifications via visual inspection, ATP and microbiological swabs – and signing the required documentation when Area Manager is on holiday/absence Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in an effective, hygienic condition, always maintain housekeeping standards. Liaise with the site QA regarding daily hygiene audits and non-conformance Support site hygiene and area manager in all aspects of management & ensure self-reliability at all times Step up to cover Hygiene Area Manger’s role when on holiday/absence Encourage safe working practices at all times & ensure that all staff have a good understanding of all duties undertaken. Maintain the H&S, welfare of myself and other employees, ensuring all COSHH regulations governing handling, storage and labelling of chemicals are adhered to.

Candidate requirements:

Communicates effectively to all colleagues Can-do, positive attitude Ability to meet job requirements & deadlines Previous experience within FMCG as hygiene Line Leader or equivalent Able to lead a team effectively Understand the importance of health & safety, hygiene and standards
