We are currently recruiting for a Process Manager you will be responsible for creating and embedding a culture and ways of working that enables our people to deliver targets whilst continuously improving the performance of our business.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

· Responsible for all movement of fluids from cream intake to cream ageing, milk & evaporator

· Responsible for all CIP’s controlled by SCADA

· Drives site towards “CIP Best Practice”

· Creating a culture where our people are enabled & empowered daily

· Creating clear succession & development plans

· Lead and manage a programme of cost engineering/savings to deliver an on-going benefit to the business, identifying new projects and delivering them.

· Development of problem solving culture using all available tools & techniques including team development in CI

· Development of “Process subject matter experts”

· Looks for “8 waste” in everything that we do

· Drives team to find, own and deliver OE initiatives and recognise individuals for delivery of (What If’s)

· Converts & interprets “Process Top Loss” data analysis into improvement projects

· Promote and role model recognition & employee of the month candidates

· Recognise and drive the people agenda through clearly defined comms and man management (inc job chats)

· Cascade OGSM deliverables into SMART PDP objectives for all team members

· Know the process and understand current CIP Liquid movement and processing performance (creation of glidepath of top losses)

Key skills and experience:

· Health and safety commitment demonstrated through “go, look, see”. Puts in place corrective actions

· In depth knowledge of liquid processing

· Strong knowledge of pumps, valves and industry standard instrumentation

· Detailed understanding of CIP best practise

· Basic understanding of Engineering & Automation principles

· Good understanding of dairy micro analysis

· Knowledge of autonomous maintenance & CMMS

· Strong Knowledge of OpEx tools & techniques

· Sponsor of Operational Excellence principles in everything that we do

· Utilises all available opportunities, enabling others to improve the way we do things

· People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues

· Create purpose and direction around OGSM deliverables

· Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives and knows how current performance impacts the bottom line

· Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business
