We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Brinsford, a Prison and YOI for men located in Wolverhampton

The site currently offers shift patterns throughout the week -12 hour shifts covering 3/4 days a week.
Nights will be included once a month Part time considered.Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £38,115 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
be an integral part of the healthcare team at Brinsford by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Within this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.

Job responsibilities
As a Primary Care Nurse you will work within amulti-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospitaladmissions. You will undertakemedication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency responsesituations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening. You will use your skills and knowledge todeliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by amulti-disciplinary team.
You will contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to;
Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seekingout, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalisedand informed by what matters to them.
Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference, asdefined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework.
