About You:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, a world-renowned cancer treatment centre in London, to provide specialist occupational therapy to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist occupational therapy to patients with cancer, focusing on physical difficulties, fatigue, post-surgical care, and discharge planning.
  • Work autonomously in ward and outpatient settings, conducting assessments and developing individualised rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and coordinated care.
  • Contribute to a supportive and innovative healthcare environment known for pushing the boundaries of cancer treatment.

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist with:

  • HCPC registration.
  • UK-recognised occupational therapy diploma/degree.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience, ideally within the UK healthcare system.

Essential Skills:

  • Discharge planning
  • Assessment for equiment and POC in the community
  • Knowledge of functional assessment and treatment techniques for oncology and palliative care patients,
