Enterprise Service architects are a visiblechampion for Service Architecture and architectural governance theyare the operational functional lead and provide day to dayarchitectural oversight control and daytoday decision making onmajor change activities escalating major decisions to the headof.

Tasks
  • Alignmentto operational and assurance strategy that underpin our customerneeds.
  • Actively contributing to the overallteam strategy and take accountabilities for aspects of the MajorChange and ODA team
  • Contributing to assuranceperformance measures demonstrating value for money identifyingpotential cost reductions and describing customer value/benefit.
  • Supporting the alignment to and enhancement ofquality and standards include overall department performancemeasurement internal customer engagement and feedback driving CSIPactivities.
  • Responsible for collating andreporting architectural RAID items related to assigned projectitems.
  • Supporting the ongoing management ofMajor Change and ODA policies designed to underpin our customerneeds and drive our suppliersbehaviours
  • Working collaboratively with widerOperational teams support the shape and design of the E2EOperational teams and capabilities aligning the integration of newservices and products to a TOM.
  • Ensure keyOperational and business requirements are captured and tracedthrough to sign off.
  • As the key interface withthe Programme and Design functions ensure that operationalrequirements are accurately captured in a quality and timelymanner.
  • Ensuring any modifications ortransitions to the live operational environment are managed plannedand coordinated through Service architecture processes andactivities to facilitate a smooth transition to liveoperation.
  • Feeds into and supports OperationalChange & Transition key performance indicators (KPIs)metrics packages and related information demonstrating value andsound business outcomes.
  • Owning and deliveringend to end service architecture packages through robust planningand management (including RAID) ensuring that Service Designsupports programmatic/project delivery dates
  • Influencing the project/program and keystakeholders to ensure that the product or solution delivered meetsthe strategic aims and needs of Operations
  • Producing iterative Impact Assessmentsidentifying the impact of change to Operations the resourcesrequired to deliver the change and the required enterprise servicearchitecture artefacts to ensure that the product or solution canbe successfully operated in life
  • Acting as anSME interface to program/projects for Operational colleagues byleading and moderating workshops to identify interpret qualify andwhere necessary improve Operational requirements
  • Translating requirements and obligations(including Regulatory) into enterprise service artefacts describingthe scope of services delivery model(s) people processes ServiceLevel Agreements (SLAs) and supporting Operational Level Agreements(OLAs)
  • Representing Operations throughprocurement in vendor moderation and evaluation process ensuringthe best outcomes for Operations.
  • Working withcommercial teams ensuring that there are robust commercialagreements and contract schedules reflecting appropriate measuresand controls to enable service management.
  • Identifying service risks in contract clausesand recommending appropriate control measures
  • Producing enterprise service architectureartefacts which include but are not limited to High level ServiceDesigns system data plans and Ways of workingdocuments
  • Conducting regular reporting on allprojects/initiatives: effectiveness highlighting delays/risks andmake constructive suggestions as to how these can beovercome.
  • Adherence to internal governanceprocesses ensuring that the end to end service design package is aquality product
  • Take end to end ownership ofOperational delivery of a Programme/project or group of smallerprojects forOperations
