The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. We are in the fortunate position of attracting many new members to our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team over the past couple of years. We are proud of the developments we have been able to achieve together as a growing multidisciplinary team. There is an energy and optimism that we can continue to see our service grow and continually improve for the children and young people we serve, but there is a lot of work still to do. We need enthusiastic and skilled Clinical Psychologists to join our team.
Whether you are an experienced clinician looking for an exciting change or at the early stages of your career (qualifying in 2024) we want to hear from you. There are opportunities to work in a number of different areas of our service, with this post likely to be contributing to the delivery of psychology services to our ED and Core teams. Whilst we have many different specialties within our team, we have the advantage of all being located in The Phoenix Centre, next to Raigmore Hospital, providing opportunity for both support and learning from MD colleagues across the service.
We are interested in learning about what you are passionate about, we want to benefit from your skill set, but also see you grow and develop in your role. We are supportive of CPD and ensuring we know your training needs identified through your personal appraisal and offering opportunities for post qualification training in specific therapeutic modalities.
The Highlands are a playground for those loving the outdoors. If you are not active coming here, you run the risk of becoming that way There is stunning geography for you to explore but also urban amenities like Eden Court Theatre, restaurants, bars and shops in Inverness. If you enjoy (or see the benefit even) of loch swimming, there are opportunities to go after work with the hardier members of our team.
