Our Peripatetic Service are seeking to appoint a Practitioner, working a 26.25 per week permanent contract. This essential service works 7 days per week, 52 weeks a year, providing the best possible quality of care in the community.

The successful candidate will support the service by understanding and assessing needs and goals of people who use our service to achieve outcomes and reduce the need for social care long term support.

This exciting role will lead a team to deliver high quality care and support to the most vulnerable people of our district, meeting their needs, and promoting person centred care at every opportunity. 

This post is subject to the Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act . The post holder is required to demonstrate a proficient level of fluency under the Duty as detailed within the job specification for the post”


Peripatetic Service
– is a district wide service offering long-term support with personal care and household tasks to support vulnerable adults to enable them to continue living independently at home. This includes working in partnership with different Housing Associations, for provision of services to people who live in extra care housing.
