Maths Tutor Expectations of all pupils are high, and our school has a reputation for being a happy, friendly, stimulating and caring environment in which everyone is given the opportunity and support to complete their studies successfully and to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will hold a degree & have tutoring experience OR confident to deliver maths interventions

Roles & responsibilities includes:

delivering tailored programmes which complement ongoing class work, learning objectives and assessment plans along with the class teacher

work 1-1 or in small groups  with students who are falling behind academically to ensure they achieve in upcoming exams

adapt the content, style, format of the tuition to ensure the most effective results are achieved

build strong relationships with pupils and school contacts through session delivery, review meetings, tuition progress reports and feedback

Successful candidates will:

Have great subject knowledge and the ability to plan and communicate it effectively in 1:1 or small group settings.

Be flexible and committed to delivering engaging, challenging, and developmental sessions over the course

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
