Estates and Facilities Management
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contract Supervisor to join one of the UK’s leading Universities in their Estates & Facilities team. You will work within the Building Fabric Maintenance team and taking responsibility for supervising external contract support and ensuring co-ordination between the contract service and the end user.
Your new role
The role will require you to supervise the completion of primary maintenance contracts. You will be responsible for receiving O&M data from the supporting teams and ensure all asse data is correctly distributed to responsible sections.
The position of the Contract Supervisor role takes primary responsibility for delivering compliance duties and carrying out minor works to support the universities legislative compliance. You will work with colleagues in schools, professional services and campus living, tenants and sports to collate and deliver a structured programme of maintenance and compliance delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
- IOSH Managing Safely
- ILM level 2 in Management or equivalent, or willing to undertake this.
- Building qualification NVQ or City & Guilds or equivalent
- Experience of H&S practices
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent practical IT skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook diary management and specialist PPM software.
