Contract: Permanent
Location: Liverpool (L33)
Salary: £16.00 to £19.00 p/h, DOE, plus overtime
Hours: Mon to Thu 08:00-16:30 and Fri 08:00-15.30
Company Pension
Bonus dependent upon productivity and company performance

We are currently recruiting several skilled CNC Millers for a fast-expanding engineering client based in Liverpool. These roles are directly permanent positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and operating computer numerical control machines CNC to produce precision parts for various industries (Programming would be beneficial to the role but not essential).
  • Interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality of product.
  • Ensure all necessary adjustments are made for machine performance.
  • Inspection of finished parts using necessary measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.

The successful CNC Miller will hold the following skills & experience:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
  • Proficient use of CNC programming software.
  • Knowledge of tooling and related machine processes.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Experience of Haas and Fanuc machines would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Basic assembly skills would be helpful.
