London, United Kingdom Adecco. Full time
About the role

Location: London, Bishops Square

Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Internal Communications Executive to join our small but dynamic UK & Ireland Comms team. In this role, you will help shape the Adecco Group’s communication agenda for the UK & Ireland, working closely with various functions across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Comms team in creating engaging content,
  • Managing channels and platforms, and measuring the effectiveness of our initiatives.
  • As an ‘internal journalist’, your ability to write, edit and proofread copy in English is essential – you’ll be contributing to a consistent tone of voice that engages, informs, and drives clear action.

Additionally, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting integrated comms campaigns that align with our business targets,
  • Bring a human connection to our company brand, and engage different target audiences across different platforms.
  • You’ll also work closely with the team to embed the Adecco Group’s values and culture via employee stories and business activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring awareness to the meaningful work our colleagues do, while driving business performance, engagement, and retention. If you have a passion for building strong reputations, crafting compelling messages, and managing positive relationships with key stakeholders, we would love to hear from you

The Internal Communications Executive sits within the UK & Ireland Communications team, whose remit includes Internal and External Comms. This role reports directly into the Head of Internal Communications, UK & Ireland, with dotted line responsibilities to the Country Head of Communications.

What you'll be doing

  • Working with colleagues and leaders to collect relevant content, drafting material where necessary and layout in appropriate templates
  • Drafting and editing content for internal publications and platforms, including a weekly newsletter, intranet articles and webpages, digital signage, presentations, information emails and organisational announcements
  • Supporting the Head of Internal Communications on the strategy, governance, and content management of our internal channels, including events, town halls, intranet, e-newsletters, social collaboration platform and email management platform
  • Developing and executing internal engagement plans and initiatives for diverse employee base as required
  • Supporting projects across our Global Business Units and Functions
  • Building a human connection with our brand and culture through employee stories and business activities
  • Working with the relevant stakeholders to develop and align our internal brand – delivering strong, consistent verbal and visual identity across the Group – across our internal channels and physical spaces.
