As the Head of Maths you willplay a crucial role in leading and managing the Mathematicsdepartment ensuring that our students receive a comprehensive andengaging curriculum. We are seeking someone who can inspire and motivateboth students and staff fostering a love for Mathematics andpromoting academic excellence. Responsibilities
  • Leadand manage the Maths department ensuring the delivery of anoutstanding Maths curriculum
  • Provide strategicdirection and support to Maths teachers promoting a positive andinclusive learning environment
  • Evaluate andmonitor student progress and achievements inMaths
  • Collaborate with colleagues to developand implement effective teaching strategies andresources
  • Mentor and guide Maths teachersfostering their professional growth anddevelopment
  • Contribute to the schools Mathsprogram and extracurricular activities
  • Maintainaccurate records of student attendance behaviour and academicperformance
Requirements

QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialization in Mathematics ora related field Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or MathematicsEducation (preferred) Significant experience teaching Mathematicspreferably in a leadership role Excellent leadership and managementskills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Strongsubject knowledge in Mathematics with the ability to deliveroutstanding lessons Excellent communication organizational andanalytical skills Commitment to ongoing professional developmentand keeping up with the latest developments in Mathematicseducation
