HOURS OF WORK: Varied according to the needs of the business, may involve days and nights but in accordance with the Road Transport Regulations and under tachograph regulations

SALARY: Approx. £42,000 per annum

A vacancy has arisen within our team at Killingholme for a General Haulage Driver to support our operations within the transport contract.

The General Haulage Driver role exists to collect and transport various materials from different customers and move it to their desired destination. Our drivers spend most of their time working independently on the road. You'll have access to the latest technology to support you in the role and be given the autonomy you need to get the job done as efficiently as possible.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -

      General Haulage work throughout the UK

      Monday-Friday nights away from base are essential

      Occasional weekend working will be required when needed

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/attributes:-

      Good level of personal presentation.

      A Strong team player.

      Good time keeping and willing to work flexible hours.

      Good communication skills.

      Clean LGV C+E drivers license.

      Driver CPC Qualification card.

      Tacho Digi card.

      Competent in all aspects of General Haulage and refrigerated trailer work.

      A good fit with the Hargreaves Industrial Services culture.

      Good understanding of the road network.

      Must be able to work to tight deadlines.

      Proactive towards Health and Safety.

      Company uniform provided.
