Job summary

We are looking to employ male Band 3 Health Care Assistants (HCA) to join the team based at Newbridges Inpatient Unit. Due to the requirements of this role there is a genuine occupational requirement for males to be appointed. This is a patient facing role working in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team based at Newbridges. Newbridges is an 18 bedded working age, male inpatient unit.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role will include:

To provide and maintain a high standard of health care assistant support to patients as well as providing assistance to the clinical and other members of the healthcare team Demonstrating the ability to work effectively as part of a teamand provide support/guidance to less experienced staff/learners within the clinical environment Working to promote the health and wellbeing of patients within the unit.
