We are actively recruiting an ambitious, driven, and caring Deputy Care Manager for our office in Sunbury-on-Thames, to manage the CareGiver team and ensure compliance at all times.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the holistic delivery of outstanding care across our territory. You will have exceptional people management and communication skills to support and coach our fantastic team of CareGivers. This role will require a great deal of flexibility. You will be required to deliver care to our Clients on an as and when basis and be required to participate in our on call rota, answering CareGiver enquiries and supporting them to undertake their duties in the field. Our Deputy Care Manager will be taking the lead on all CareGiver performance review including appraisals, supervisions and addressing and organising training support needs.

What we need from our Deputy Care Manager

  • Experience of leadership within the care sector (as a Deputy Manager preferred but we will consider Team Leaders, Unit Leaders , Seniors etc)
  • You must be a driver and have unrestricted access to a reliable car
  • Have or be willing to obtain class 1 business insurance for your vehicle
  • Already have Right to Work full-time in the UK – we cannot support applicants to obtain UK right to work.
  • Hold at least Level 3 Health & Social Care
  • Hold or be willing to work towards Level 5 Health & Social Care Management and Leadership
  • Be willing to undertake care calls, including personal care and moving and handling
  • Take part in the on call rota (1 week in 4)
