About theRoleWe are looking for a VicePrincipal candidate The VP works alongside the Principal to provideleadership and support in the overall management of the school. Therole involves a combination of administrative instructional andstudentfocused responsibilities.
Roles& responsibilities:
  • Work with the schoolgoverning body in the overall management and administration of theschool.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensureefficient daytoday operations.
  • Help develop andimplement school policies procedures andguidelines.
  • Address student behavior issues andenforce school rules and disciplinarypolicies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staffto maintain a positive and respectful schoolculture.
  • Work with parents and guardians toaddress student behavior concerns.
  • Assist inthe development and implementation of the schools curriculumcollaborate with teachers on instructional strategies curriculumplanning assessment and monitor curriculum alignment witheducational standards.
  • Support teacherprofessional development initiatives.
  • Conductclassroom observations and provide constructive feedback toteachers.
  • Assist in teacher recruitmentorientation and retention efforts.
  • Overseestudent services including counseling and support programs.
  • Assist in organizing and overseeingextracurricular activities.
  • Communicateregularly with parents regarding school activities and studentprogress.
  • Organize and participate inparentteacher conferences and meetings.
  • Fosterpositive relationships with the local community and externalstakeholders.
  • Work with the school governingbody to develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Ensure the school complies with safetyregulations and protocols.
  • Engage incontinuous professional development to stay updated on educationalleadership practices and promote professional growth opportunitiesfor teachers and staff.
  • Analyze studentperformance data to inform instructional strategies to help andprepare reports on student achievement attendance and behavior.
  • Use data to identify areas for improvement andimplement strategies for enhancement.
  • Workclosely with the school governing body to align school goalsobjectives and collaborate on decisionmaking and strategic planningfor the school.
  • Assume leadershipresponsibilities in the absence of the Principal.

Qualification:
  • Post Graduate degreeB.Ed mandatory
