The Role

As an Assistant Domiciliary Care Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of exceptional care services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Domiciliary Care Manager in the efficient operation of home care services, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing the quality of life for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of domiciliary care services including client visits and spot checks.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients and staff.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of care plans, adapting to clients' changing needs.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of care staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices.
  • Utilise the CareFree System for efficient management of Rotas, schedules, documentation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and healthcare professionals, building strong relationships and promoting the values of our clients.
  • Support the Domiciliary Care Manager in strategic planning and service development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the Health Care sector, preferably in domiciliary care.
  • Proficiency in using the CareFree System is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of care standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement effective solutions.
  • A passion for providing high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
