We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at  Alnorthumbria Vets in Alnwick.

You'll be joining us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 11.25 hours per week.

The shift pattern will be: 

Tuesday 12.00 - 18.00

Friday 16.00 - 19.00

And a 1:4 share in the Saturday rota

About the role:

As our new Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

Answering phones and booking appointments Responding to queries via phone, in person and email Registering new clients Completing insurance forms Dispensing medications Taking payments And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the clinic

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

Previous Receptionist experience is essential , veterinary experience is a plus An excellent communicator with strong empathy Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills Computer literacy skills are a must
