Role purpose - overview:

This business support position is based at the Electronic Controls and Motor Systems (ECMS) site of Collins Aerospace. ECMS is focused on R&D for electric motors and motor controllers.

The role holder is responsible for the management, support and maintenance of business applications such as SAP, Doors, Dimensions, Triaster, and Teamcenter amongst others. The role will link into the wider digital technology team and will follow corporate guidelines.

The successful candidate will have experience of maintaining digital systems, training new employees to use the digital systems and providing support to users. It is an interesting, varied role that links into the majority of functions across the business.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

Manage the introduction of software upgrades for site specific software applications Support (and possibly develop) SQL databases Develop and roll out training material to ensure users are in line with the procedures. Support SAP and MES users through the supply chain and manufacturing side of the business. Support Teamcenter, DOORS etc Track the software and maintenance costs through the year. Ensure new employees have the necessary access to the applications. Ensure employees leaving the business are removed from the systems and specific licenses. Ensure compliance with the corporate policies. Support corporate DT audits as required.

Essential requirements including qualifications, skills, knowledge, competencies:

Degree educated At least three years of experience in business analysis, software development or a related field SQL databases. SAP knowledge. Demonstrates professional and credible communication. Flexible and able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team to tight deadlines.

Desirable requirements including qualifications, skills, knowledge, competencies:

Project management, Analytical thinking, problem-solving Background in Programming languages. Good interpersonal skills. Listen to colleagues needs and proactively work to support the team.
