The Hair and Beauty department at Newcastle College require a highly motivated individual to join the team as Resource Co-Ordinator in Beauty Therapy. The role involves supporting learners build industry standard skills by facilitating sessions whilst working with clients in our Real Working Environment. The role is also an integral part of the running of the department involving leading the technical team in managing the salons and studios, stock ordering, and supporting teaching staff and students in sessions as well as ordering and organising uniforms, trips and visits as well as other supporting resources for the department. Additionally, the role includes the maintenance of facilities, in line with health and safety requirements and taking a lead on the implementation and adherence to specific industry requirements within the department.

The successful candidate would would be qualified up to Level 3 Beauty Therapy with ideally also be qualified in Aesthetics or be willing to work towards this. The role of resource coordinator requires you to be industry focused, have excellent people management skills, organised and methodical in both supporting learners as well as in supporting the running of the Hair and Beauty department. You will require a teaching qualification or e willing to work towards this and associated industrial experience in beauty therapy and ideally laser services to allow you to provide outstanding support to learners when working in practical situations in the Retreat.
