About us

Peterloo Medical Centre is a busy practice in the heart of Middleton. We are a happy and friendly team that works together to provide person centered healthcare.

We are a five GP Partner practice, with two salaried GPs, two Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate, and full admin and reception team.

Job description

Job responsibilities

To work as part of the Nursing Team providing duties as stated above alongside:

Processing of laboratory samples requested by GPs/Nurses

Vaccine / Cold chain monitoring and recording

Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health and wellbeing

Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of Long Term Conditions

Helping to raise awareness of health and wellbeing and how it can be promoted

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Venepuncture, Immunisations and Vaccinations

Desirable

Functional Skills - English and Mathematics, Level 3 HCSW

Experience

Essential

Experience of working within a health setting - preferably Primary Care

Desirable

Experience of using EMIS Web, Docman and T-Quest
