Role Summary The role of an Internal Auditor is to support the Compliance Manager to provide senior leaders and governing bodies of an organisation with an objective source of information regarding the following: The organisation¿s risks Operational Effectiveness Compliance with applicable laws and regulations Within this role you will consider issues such as the organisation¿s reputation, operational efficiency, legislative requirements, impact on the environment, and the way it treats its employees. Taking on objective assessments of an organisation¿s processes and performance to provide valuable insight that personnel who perform or manage the actual operations may not be able to see. Role Responsibilities Assist the Compliance Manager to plan and decide the scope for Audit projects. Deliver against the audit goals set. Ensure all risk assessments and audit tests are conducted in the most proficient way possible. Build, maintain and sustain working relations with relevant stakeholders internally & externally. Present findings and meaningful conclusion to relevant stakeholders Identify trends and patterns and develop reports for stakeholders to make more informed decisions.  Build reporting requirements and work with data team to create power bi reports. Perform walkthroughs, process notes, controls mapping with a view to highlighting any weaknesses and improvements around compliance, governance, risk management or process improvement. Align self to companies social and environmental mission and champion any actions that you can directly impact at all times.  Complete audits to meet the expectations & requirements set by NEXT. Stock loss and cash investigations. Skills and Experience Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Experience in using flow charting software. Flexibility to travel on a regular basis, with potential for wider travel including occasional international assignment. Role Competencies Able to demonstrate clear ownership and accountability. Ability to deliver audits to a high standard in a dynamic environment, possessing an analytical mindset, great project management skills, efficient problem-solving skills and clear communication.
