We have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Plant Fitter to join our team based at Aveley.

If you want to grow with a rapidly expanding, industry-leading company within the specialist plant and transport industry, then this could be the opportunity for you

Working as part of the flexible National Heavy Plant Maintenance Team. The successful person will support site operations to achieve improvement in availability and plant standards, reduce long-term maintenance spend and help to achieve our Next Gear HSE initiatives.

On Offer:

Experience

Strong maintenance background with an excellent understanding of heavy plant machinery ranging from excavators, telehandlers, dumpers & rollers, a good understanding of non-operated plant would also be preferable (OEM understanding for CAT, JCB and Hitachi Machines preferred.)

Key Areas:

  • Electrical fault finding
  • Hydraulics
  • Fault Diagnosis
  • Pneumatics
  • General servicing and defect repair

Qualifications

Required:

  • NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance/time served or equivalent
  • CSCS Gold
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence 

Preferred:

  • IPAF
  • Slinger/Signaller
  • Rope Trained
