As a Mechanical Engineer at Megger, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components for our products/services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life, ensuring our products are at the forefront of technology and quality. Responsibilities:

Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed mechanical designs and models. Conduct feasibility studies and design analysis to ensure product performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate mechanical components seamlessly. Develop and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. Prototype, test, and validate mechanical designs to identify and address any potential issues. Stay current with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to enhance product innovation. Support manufacturing and production teams by providing guidance during the assembly and fabrication process. Identify cost-saving opportunities and design improvements without compromising quality. Ensure designs meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
