JOB TITLE: Security Officer 

REPORTING TO: Operations Supervisor 

LOCATION: Wellgate Shopping Centre, Dundee, DD1 2DB 

HOURS: Averages to hours per week over the month, any 5 of 7 days a week, as per 6 week rolling rota 

PAY: £ per hour 

Must hold current SIA Licence for Security Guarding/Door Supervisor 

Role overview and purpose 

The Security Officer will ensure exemplary standards of Customer service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site. 

Key Responsibilities 

Gladly interact with all visitors/tenants within the shopping centre, delivering first class customer focused service.  Continuously look for opportunities to be of assistance to visitors at the shopping centre, proactively helping wherever opportunities arise.  Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to.  Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.  Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.  Complete all training requirements as requested by your line manager.  Be flexible for overtime cover if required.  Carry out all Security duties to a high standard. 

Required skills and experience 

Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful always whilst carrying out duties to the highest standard.  One team approach.  Take ownership of all situations to ensure tasks are completed or escalated when necessary.  Able to stay motivated to achieve a high aim.  Respect all staff and visitors within the shopping centre.  Knowledge of GDPR
