Graphic Designer (In-House) 

CIM (The Chartered Institute of Marketing) – we support, develop and represent marketers, organisations and the profession all over the world. Our ability to award Chartered Marketer status recognises a marketer’s commitment to staying current and abiding by a professional Code of Conduct.

Role: Permanent – Hybrid (2 days per week office based and 3 days remote)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £30, + benefits package 

Overview:

You’ll being using your expert skills to enhance CIM’s visual presence by taking on a range of creative tasks. You’ll understand how the needs of target audiences differ, how to optimise for different channels, and ensure our brand is best represented across all touchpoints. You’ll taking creative briefs from concept through to completion and working as part of the wider marketing team.

What you’ll be doing: 

Interrogate briefs and develop creative solutions.Produce branded materials, predominantly for digital platforms.Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop visually appealing materials that align with our brand identity.Assist in maintaining and enforcing brand guidelines, to ensure consistency across all marketing and promotional materials.Source imagery to support content and concepts.Art-working all assets for campaigns.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, to meet the team schedule and deliver projects to agreed deadlines.Keep on top of new software and platform developments, as well as new design, video, and communication trends

What we'd like: 

A strong creative portfolio must be provided to demonstrate skillset. Professional graphic design experience, ideally in a marketing or creative agency, or in-house environment (preferably 2+ years).Diploma, HND or BA in a design related subject.Skilled in using design software (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Animate, Figma, Turtl, Canva, etc.)Ability to follow brand guidelines while adding creativity and originality into designs.An understanding of digital channels and their use within marketing.Highly organised and able to balance multiple tasks concurrently.A keen interest in design, social media, branding, and marketing.Committed to learning and continual improvement, with a positive and flexible attitude.
