About the role

St Catherine's Catholic College, The Whitsundays is seeking two experienced secondary teachers. Whilst our ideal candidate is someone who can offer any combination of the below subjects, we welcome applications from teachers offering alternative subjects.

Full-time position

Maths Health and Physical Education Religion

Part-time position (0.8 FTE or Full Time by negotiation)

Agriculture Science  Mathematics

Positions are available to commence in the latter part of Term 2, however start dates are negotiable.

Mandatory Criteria

Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers Current Driver’s Licence Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.

Desirable Criteria

Demonstrates active pastoral engagement, authentic witness, sacramental participation and leadership in the life of the Church Professional activity through membership of professional association/s and on-going professional development.
