What you can expect to be doing:
Principally, this role’s purpose is to drive strategic initiatives using robotic process automation (RPA) and AI (discovery tools, document understanding, NLP, conversational AI, Generative AI) to streamline operations, reduce costs, drive efficiency and innovation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic direction for deploying intelligent automation solutions across the organization. Develop and implement automation strategy and ensure it aligns with the overall business objectives. Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly liaise with key stakeholders including IT, operations, finance, and executive leadership to align automation projects with business needs and strategic goals. Management of Teams and Resources: Direct the management of both human and technological resources. Oversee a team of RPA/AI professionals in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions. Project Accountability: Be accountable for the success and efficiency of automation projects. Ensure projects deliver on time, within budget, and meet predefined success metrics. Decision Making and Analysis: Utilize high levels of analysis and judgment to make decisions that impact the broader business strategy. Assess risks and benefits of various automation approaches and technologies. Operational Planning and Execution: Engage in daily operational management and long-term planning of the automation initiatives. This includes budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling to meet strategic targets. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster an environment of innovation that encourages continuous improvement and adoption of the latest automation technologies to enhance business processes. Performance and Impact Reporting: Regularly report to senior management on the progress, outcomes, and ROI of automation initiatives. Use data-driven insights to guide future strategies. AI and Automation Championing: Act as the primary advocate for automation and AI within the organisation. Simplify complex technical concepts into understandable terms, promoting widespread understanding and adoption of these technologies across all levels of the company.What we are looking for from you:
Technical Expertise: String technical proficiency with automation platforms like UiPath, and familiarity with AI technologies including NLP and machine learning. Advanced knowledge in process design and automation. Functional Knowledge: Solid understanding of business process management, change management, and continuous improvement practices. Leadership Skills : Proven leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Skills in strategic planning, team development, and performance management. Interpersonal Skills : Strong negotiation and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and manage team dynamics. Excellent communication skills are essential for explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Analytical Skills: High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of conducting complex data analysis to drive decisions and improve processes.We are RS Group.
