Position: Maths Teacher

Location: Bedfordshire

Start Date: 24 June 2024

Step Teachers and an ‘Outstanding’ school in Bedfordshire are seeking a Maths Teacher to join them from 24 June 2024 on a full-time permanent basis.

Maths Teacher Role:

  • Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum.
  • Organised and professional manner.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the maths department and throughout the school.
  • Maths Teacher with an ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Maths Teacher Requirements:

  • A maths related degree is highly desirable.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Maths Teacher at Secondary level.
  • Maths Teacher with a genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
